WHAT'S IN YOUR SOAP?

You may wonder what in in your soap? Exploring ingredients in your bath and body care products is very important and I am so proud to be transparent about ours. In each bar of soap we have three main ingredients: Olive oil, Castor oil, and African shea butter, in addition of course to our goat milk! We also use essential oils or phthalate and paraben free fragrances for the delicious scents. Why do we use these ingredients to create our small batch handcrafted soaps?

Olive Oil-

This oil is rich in fats, antioxidants, and vitamins which have been proven to improve skin moisture, anti-aging effects, and recovery from sun. Improving skin moisture combats dry skin and helps skin fight daily stressors and aging to appear more plump, youthful, and healthy. Olive oil my lower the risk of acne, increases collagen, and cleanses skin.

African Shea Butter-

This butter is a rich emollient that can help to heal cracked skin due to its vitamins A, E, and F content. It also contains several fatty acids, that improve the skins natural barrier. It has some anti-inflammatory compounds, which can help heal skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Castor Oil-

Castor oil is an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, moisturizing, and hydrating. It is also cleansing and is very helpful in removing dirt.
